How do our rates work?
  • There is no charge for the initial discussion to determine your appraisal needs.
  • For more complex projects or if you need guidance in determining the best type of appraisal for your situation, consultations are $125 per half-hour within the Billings area. Contact for a quote if you are outside of Billings.
  • Appraisal fees are competitive and are based on an hourly rate of $175 per hour.
  • For estate appraisals, we often use the square footage of the residence and the complexity/quantity of the contents as a general reference.  For example, a 2,000 sq ft home would translate roughly to:  $5,000-7,000 depending on the contents
  • For smaller-scope projects such as appraisals for insurance, a general guideline is that we can appraise 1-3 items per hour with a 2 hour minimum.
